Swiss painter and sculptor Tom von Kaenel began to paint his first serious pictures when he was 10 years old. After school, he worked as a cemetery gardener, cleaner, carpenter, aircraft draftsman, and art teacher.
Tom von Kaenel worked for 8 years with the Swiss gallery ART Forum Ute Barth in Zurich and was invited to several international art fairs in the USA, South Korea, and Europe.
The years went by, five years ago he decided to devote himself exclusively to sculpture. Tom von Kaenel is represented by the art gallery CAN Christina Androulaki in Athens and Philia Gallerie in New York. He is also a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts in Athens.
Tom von Kaenel works especially with Naxian marble. His focus is on Greek mythology. He lives near Agios Arsenios, Naxos.
